Sledmere House Wedding In North Yorkshire

Summer weddings don’t always come with sunshine, and this one was definitely a wet one mixed with glorious sunshine!

After the ceremony at St Mary’s church, we headed over to the Barn at Sledmere House near Driffield in North Yorkshire. The intermittent rain continued throughout the day, but it didn’t stop everyone enjoying themselves or us getting outside for some photos whenever there was a break in the weather, however we did get caught in an almighty downpour at the end of the portrait session which lead to some fun photos running back for cover.

The Barn at Sledmere House was a great place to finish the day, with plenty of space for everyone to relax, eat, drink and celebrate. Despite the rain, it was a brilliant wedding with lots of laughs and some great moments to photograph.

Sometimes you just have to embrace the weather and get on with it!
